BrackChips won an even-money bet on the first Jermain Taylor - Kelly Pavlik fight, and he won again last night, even though he did give 2-to-1 odds. The bout was highly competitive and very entertaining, as were the undercards. If you missed it, HBO will re-air the main event next Saturday before the Klitschko - Ibragamov showdown.
Hopefully Jermain will continue to fight successfully at 168 pounds, his new stomping grounds. He fought very well last night, even in a loss, and should fare well against Mikkel Kessler, Edison Miranda, Jeff Lacy, or whoever else is supposed to be good at 168 pounds these days.
