Rosing Sesh...

Booked my first ross in quite a whire today, so I thought I'd post a coupre of hands to get some feedback on exactry how bad I was praying. One thing about the weekend tabres on FT that I always have trouble adjusting to: NOBODY FOLDS. Like even more than usual. So I lost a lot of money double-barreling, etc. Here's a prime example, I had villain at 18/10, so I thought competent:

Full Tilt Poker, $0.50/$1 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 9 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

UTG+2: $94.55
MP1: $37
Hero (MP2): $103.80
CO: $101.90
BTN: $132.35
SB: $107.85
BB: $55.40
UTG: $234.90
UTG+1: $85.30

Pre-Flop: T 9 dealt to Hero (MP2)
4 folds, Hero raises to $4, 2 folds, SB calls $3.50, BB calls $3

Flop: ($12) 7 K 2 (3 Players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $10, SB calls $10, BB folds

Turn: ($32) J (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $25, SB calls $25

River: ($82) T (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero checks

Results: $82 Pot ($3 Rake)
Hero showed T 9 (a pair of Tens) and LOST (-$39 NET)
SB showed K Q (a pair of Kings) and WON $79 (+$40 NET)

I dunno...I guess it's really spewy, but I really thought he would fold on the turn if he couldn't beat AK. Should I shove the river? I feel like if he's gonna call the turn, he's gonna call the river. Anyway given how the games were going, I guess I should have just shut down after the flop bet.

Here's another one - I'm pretty sure I played this hand right, virrain pretty much unknown - I have him at 20/3 over 50 hands.

Full Tilt Poker, $0.50/$1 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 7 Players

LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

MP: $96.50
Hero (CO): $102.50
BTN: $80.75
SB: $124.25
BB: $121.80
UTG: $112.30
UTG+1: $41.60

Pre-Flop: K K dealt to Hero (CO)
3 folds, Hero raises to $4, BTN calls $4, 2 folds

Flop: ($9.50) 4 J T (2 Players)
Hero bets $8, BTN calls $8

Turn: ($25.50) 9 (2 Players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $25, Hero raises to $90.50 and is All-In, BTN calls $43.75 and is All-In

River: ($163) 8 (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

Results: $163 Pot ($3 Rake)
Hero showed K K (a pair of Kings) and LOST (-$80.75 NET)
BTN showed T J (two pair, Jacks and Tens) and WON $160 (+$79.25 NET)

Pre-flop and flop are pretty standard, the question is what to do on the turn. It looks like a really scary card, BUT: 1) It does give me more outs if I was beat on the flop. 2) I have two kings, so king-queen to make a straight is less likely (there are only 8 possible combos). 3) There are a few hands most players would bet that I'm ahead of, like QJ, QQ, or diamonds. Diamonds never get there, so I'd love to get it in against them. 4) Who knows, he could throw away a better hand like T9.

So yeah, I got stacked, but I do have a lot of equity on that turn. Any queen, king, nine, or four wins it for me. Poker Stove says 27% equity, but that doesn't even account for the fact that I have the second-nut spade so...I feel good about the play.
